What an exciting week we have ahead here at The School of St. Philip!
All Moms be sure you look at Friday below ϑ.
Kindergarten Open House
Tuesday, March 17, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
We invite all prospective kindergartners, those registered already and those just looking, to join us for a peek at our school. Parents will have an information meeting at 6:15 while the children explore the kindergarten classroom. School committee members will be present to give the parent perspective and fifth graders will give tours of the school they know so well. Refreshments will be served.
Please invite any families that you know with kindergartners for next year. We sent an invitation to every prospective kindergartner in the Litchfield school district. Your personal encouragement could be just what they need. Share the good news of our school!
Visit from Bishop John LeVoir
Wednesday, March 18
Bishop LeVoir will be joining us for Mass at 12:30 p.m. Please come if you can. He will then come to the school to visit the classrooms. We are proud to show him our school and your children.
Field Trip
Thursday, March 19
Grades 3, 4, & 5 will be spending the day at St. Cloud State University to attend a program at the planetarium and to enjoy some bowling at Atwood Center. We thank Mrs. Bednarek for planning this at her Alma Mater, and Mrs. Nagel for once again driving the parish bus for us.
Important Area Faith Community Meeting
Thursday, March 19, 7:00 p.m. at the Church of St. Philip social hall
This important meeting will give input into the next Plan for Parishes in the New Ulm Diocese. Our Catholic schools are an important part of the mission of the Catholic Church and our diocese. We need many of our school parents to attend this meeting and speak for Catholic education. Your perspective is worth sharing with others.
Donuts for our Darling Moms
Friday, March 20, 7:15 – 8:00 a.m. at the church social hall
Please come join your children before school for treats and a chance to visit with other school moms and students. If Mom cannot come, maybe your child can invite a grandma or an aunt. Mass will be at 8:30 a.m.. so we hope many of you can arrange to stay to pray with us. All children should come directly to the church. Following Mass the parish bus will take the children back to school.
