VI.       OLD BUSINESS:  DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS

1.  Winter Fundraiser

Plans for the Winter Fundraiser are well in hand.  There have been approximately 180 tickets sold at this time.  The site has been moved from the Social Hall back to Peter’s on Lake Ripley due to the city ordinance regarding the sale of liquor.

2. Budget Plans for 2009-2010

The timeline and process for the 2009-2010 budget was presented to the council.

January 2009-Preparation of Ministry Goals & Objectives

                                February 2009-Preparation of Budget Worksheets

March 2009-Review discussion of Proposed Budget with Administrative Council

                                April 2009-Approval of 2009-2010 Budget.

Bishop LeVoir has sent a letter to all the churches in the Diocese asking the parish to look at their budgets with their employees and possible take steps to freeze nonessential expenditures for the remainder of the fiscal year.

3.  2008-09 DMA Update

The Diocesan Ministries Appeal appears to be on target if pledges are paid.

4.  Building Project

The Bell Tower project needs to be discussed with the Board of Consulters to understand what they are proposing the tower to be.

It was determined to have an architect draw a schematic of the Parish Office complex for presentation to the parish would cost about $2,500.

VII.     NEW BUSINESS:  DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS

1.  Upcoming Parish and Diocesan Events

Father Joe reviewed the calendar for the Diocese and Area Faith Community.

            2.  Cemetery Road

Dwight Lorensen reported that he had been approached with the concern about a road to the cemetery through the adjacent field.  It is felt that if any changes were made to that area it would jeopardize our understanding with the City of Litchfield allowing it to be wild flowers.
