Present: Bev Mathwig (Gambling Manager), Ron Ebnet, Juliana Schacherer, Jean Halbur, Geri Buresh, Fr. Joe Steinbeisser,
The meeting was opened with prayer at 4:01 p.m.
Motion by J. Schacherer, second by R. Ebnet, and carried to accept the amended minutes of the December 11, 2008 meeting which will be posted on the kiosk in the narthex of the church.
Audit results were added to the agenda.
The 6 year history of Charitable Gambling for the
Bev Mathwig reported
that there will be a meeting with Bonfire Bar and Grill regarding daily audits
vs. dispensing machines. There are pros
and cons of having dispensing machines which will need to be discussed with
Bonfire and a decision made about placing the machines there. Bev also reported that there was a misread
check which she is working with the bank to get corrected.
Motion by G. Buresh, second by J. Schacherer, and carried, to accept the December expenses and distribution of funds to the Todd Buck Benefit ($500).
The meeting adjourned at 4:40 p.m.
